Privacy Policy
Version 1.1 · Last updated 7 October 2026
This policy explains which personal data Motion2HTML (motion2html.com) processes, why, for how long and what rights you have, under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).
1. Data controller
Controller: MotiontoHtml · Address: Isla de Salvora 2, Madrid · Contact email: hola@motion2html.com.
2. Data we process
Google account data: when you sign in with Google we receive your Google account identifier, your email, your name and whether the email is verified. We do not access your profile picture, contacts, email or any other Google data, and we do not store Google access tokens.
Service usage data: your account role, sign-up date, the version of the Terms you accepted and when, and your active sessions.
Content you upload: the designs, images and animations exported from Figma and the banners you generate or save, with their names and settings.
Technical data: your IP address is used only in memory, for a few seconds, to limit the number of uploads from the plugin, and is not stored. To show the site in your language we use the country provided by Vercel's network from your IP; this is not stored either.
Aggregated usage data (analytics): with Umami we anonymously measure which pages are visited and which buttons are clicked (for example, downloading the plugin or exporting a banner), together with general technical data such as country, browser or device type. Umami does not use cookies or store your IP address, and we do not send your email, your name or the content of your banners.
3. Purposes and legal basis
Creating and managing your account, identifying you when you sign in, storing your banner library and providing the Service: performance of the contract you accept through the Terms (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Protecting the Service against abuse and keeping it secure: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Measuring aggregated website usage to improve the Service: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Keeping proof that you accepted the Terms: legitimate interest and compliance with legal obligations.
We do not use your data for advertising, we do not build profiles and we do not sell it.
4. How long we keep it
Your account and banners, until you delete them or close your account. Plugin uploads that have not been opened expire after 30 minutes. Sessions last 7 days. When you delete your account, your data, banners and their files are erased, except anything we must keep by law.
5. Who processes data on our behalf
Google LLC: sign-in (Google OAuth).
Vercel Inc.: hosting of the website and API (servers in the European Union, Frankfurt) and storage of banner files (Vercel Blob, servers in the United States).
Neon Inc.: database for accounts and banners (servers in the European Union, Frankfurt).
Umami Software, Inc.: cookieless web analytics (Umami Cloud).
These providers act as processors under contracts that comply with Art. 28 GDPR. We do not share your data with third parties unless required by law.
6. International transfers
Some providers (Google, Vercel, Neon and Umami) are US companies and banner files are stored in the United States. These transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and, where applicable, the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
7. Administrator access
People with the administrator role can see the user list (name, email and role) and access any user's banners, solely to operate, support and moderate the Service.
8. Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability by writing to hola@motion2html.com.
To delete your account and all your data and banners immediately, use the "Delete my account" button on the "My account" page. You can download your banners from your library at any time.
If you believe we have not handled your rights properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
9. Cookies
We only use technical cookies needed for signing in. See the Cookie Policy for details.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The current version is always published on this page with its last-updated date.
